  • Accommodation in Harmanli – recommended hotel – Bulgaria. Dinner and overnight stay.

Saturday

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the Topolovgrad area – hike to the Palaeokastro Thracian sanctuary – 3 hours.
    Transfer by car to Pisan Kamak – view of the Sakar Mountains.
  • Transfer by car to the Nochevi Chaïri dolmen – visit of the dolmen.
  • Dinner at the community centre in the village of Balgarin and wine tasting by Wines of Sakar.
  • Return to the hotel in Harmanli.

Sunday

  • Visit to Bratanov Winery. By car – visit to the rock church near the village of Mihalich and the fortress near the village of Matochina. Lunch at Granitsa Tavern in the village of Shtit.
  • On the way back to Harmanli, you can visit Dimitrovche Winery in the village of Dimitrovche for more fine Sakar wine.
  • Departure back.
